Santarcangelo 40. Festival Internazionale
DasArts is an international Master of Theatre programme in the form of a training laboratory for professionals in the performing arts, based in Amsterdam. We regularly introduce ourselves by means of a Mobile Counter, where anyone who is interested gets the opportunity to meet us and discover DasArts.

Our presence at the Santarcangelo Festival is not a coincidence. Snjejanka Mihaylova, will present her DasArts Master Proof in the frame of and with the support of the Santarcangelo Festival.

A series of alphabets inspired by natural forms, a conversation on representation and a performance constitute the elements of this work. Language explores the possibilities that the spectator and the performer have, of sharing a mental space in which language, missing its object, becomes an event and emerges as pure manifestation. The work investigates the sense and the shape of stage praxis: a theatrical quality emerges from the relation among different figures and from the encounter of their intellectual and creative practice.
The Bulgarian artist Snejanka Mihaylova graduated in Philosophy of Language at the University of Florence. Her stage creations include “Eupalinos” (2001-2007), winner of the 2008 Extra Prize. In theatre and performance she has collaborated with Silvia Pasello, Larsen, David Tibet, Baby Dee, Johan Johannosson and Julia Kent, and in 2009 with Piersandra Di Matteo she founded “Mont Analogue”, a new subject that relates philosophy, graphic design and performing art. “Language” is her Master Proof at DasArts - Master of Theatre, Amsterdam.
